The Sawtooth Wilderness has more wild trout water than you could fish in a lifetime.
There is nothing like the peace and solitude of a fly fishing trip into a high mountain lake. Truly a fisherman's paradise, the Sawtooth Wilderness supports a large number of crystal clear lakes with Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brook Trout, along with Arctic Greyling. Best of all, due to the remoteness and limited access to these wilderness alpine lakes, angling pressure is light.
Whether you are a novice spin caster or a seasoned fly fisherman, come join us for some of the finest backcountry trout fishing in the West. Exploring our high mountain lakes is a great way to combine hiking, horseback riding, and camping with Idaho fishing.
